  • About Cobalt

Cobalt is made in beautiful Belgium. It's founded in the flemish clay during grey evenings and rainy mornings.

For many self-employed persons, the dream of setting up your own business quickly turns into a nightmare when one has to face the hassle of keeping track of all the paperwork and finances. Rarely a passion for your products or work also implies a passion for numbers or managing stocks.
Cobalt was created with those people in mind: a web application that keeps track of all your finances, manages your stock and that doesn’t require any knowledge of accountancy whatsoever. Simple but efficient, Cobalt saves you time while also providing you with all necessary information with a simple mouseclick.

Cobalt started out as an application created by and for the Belgian publisher and concert organizer Kraak.
Along their way, while the organization was steadily growing, the people behind it couldn’t find an efficient way to keep track of their sales, costs, payments and contacts. Existing applications were either too cumbersome to work with or weren’t able to offer reports for specific projects or products and thus rather inefficient.

Somebody has to do it, so not in their nature to wait for someone else to do the job for them, Kraak started with their very own application. After a few years of trial and error, constant improving and developing, Cobalt is now finally ready to be shared with the general public. We believe it can make life easier for you and your business, just as much as it did for Kraak.

Cobalt makes chasing dreams a bit more easy.
